Open Up Said The World At The Door

I've been called a god in the past, but I dunno, I'm not sure about that. It's not like they count me as one of their own. An' yet, for some reason, I was gifted a lot of their powers. I mean, creating universes isn't a common type of power, right? You don't just give that to anyone, right? But I can do that. Done it before too, making me own little places to hide in all over the place. Maybe that's why they don't talk to me anymore. Well, Amun talks to me, but he's the only one. We... understand each other. I play him music.

I've lived a long time. Possibly too long. You'd think I'd have something else to say after all that, but there's really not much to tell. But, y'know, if you don't know me, me name's Jeff Lynne. Well, it's one of me names. I've had a few over the centuries. I used to be in a band once, went around the world a few times, but that was- that was a long time ago. They're all long-dead now, all them people I used to know. Pity, really. Sometimes I miss them. Most days I don't like to think about it.

Now I just travel anywhere and everywhere, looking for somewhere that might someday feel like home.
